Two Hearts. One Goal.
2 HEARTS EQUINE PERFORMANCE BODYWORK
Developing The Partnership That Powers Superior Performance.
My Approach:
The Heart of Performance
The name 2 Hearts reflects a simple belief: the strongest performance begins with understanding the connection between horse and human.
Masterson Method®–integrated equine performance bodywork is a collaborative, interactive approach that works with the horse—not on the horse. Through careful observation and response to subtle changes in movement, posture, and touch, Amy helps identify and release accumulated tension in key areas of the body that most affect comfort and performance.
Rest and recovery are treated as essential components of performance, supporting horses in restoring balance, easing restriction, and returning to more natural, efficient movement. The result is a horse that can step into work with greater ease, confidence, and readiness.

The Work Behind the Willing Partner:
[1]
Neurological Efficiency
Scientific research shows that pain release and restorative bodywork significantly reduce neural inhibition, allowing horses to move with greater fluidity and precision.

[2]
Biomechanical Alignment
By addressing structural imbalances and releasing chronic tension, we optimize the horse's natural gait, reducing the risk of injury and enhancing athletic longevity.

[3]
Stress Reduction
Equine performance is as much about mental state as physical health. Bodywork provides a sanctuary for the nervous system, fostering a state of deep serenity.

Proof of the Partnership:
"Amy has special gifts to connect with horses, especially through utilizing the Masterson Method. Her gentle but effective approach is remarkable. She is also generous to share her gift with others and guide you how to use the Method. She helps horses and humans bond one step at a time. I highly recommend her services."

"Amy has come out to do equine massage on my donkey a few times; not only was I impressed but so was my donkey. Amy was professional, gentle, and really knew what she was doing. Lilly went from sore and stiff to relaxed and happy by the end of sessions. You could see the difference in her movement and mood right away. Amy clearly has a real gift with equines. I highly recommend her for all your equine needs."

"Amy has done bodywork on our two elderly ponies and also is our go-to animal caretaker when we are travelling. Our equines love her so much they have become a little pushy, basically begging for bodywork! This includes our incredibly skittish 31-year-old, who barely wanted to be handled.
She is meticulous and has incredible attention to detail. Her knowledge of equine health and close observation of our animals gives me complete piece of mind when they are in their care. I often feel like our barn is a better place when we get back."
